Step 1:     Unscrew the gear knob.

Step 2:    Remove the gaitor surrounds by pulling straight backwards, to prevent the front plastic locating tabs from breaking.

Step 3:    Remove the small storage tray and the ashtray insert..

Step 4:    Remove the screw to the rear of the ashtray's slide mechanism and the two at the front which point directly upwards, remove the slide mechanism.

Step 5:    Remove the screws either side of this assembly and lever out the housing.

Step 6:    Remove the two bolts behind and unclip the fascia panel.

Stop 7: Locate the bracket with the two screws to the left of the radio assembly.

Step 8:    Refit the panel, ashtray and storage tray.

NB Removing the radio may assist in removing the fascia panel
