Step 1: Remove the central air vents via the retaining clips

Step 2: Remove the gear shift trim by unclipping from the rear

Step 3: Remove the two screws above the radio and the two screws beneath the lower edge of the heater control housing.

Step 4: Remove the radio unit and the heater control assembly.

Step 5: Locate the bracket with the screw on the left hand wall of the radio housing. ( framing the radio)

Step 6: Refit the radio and panel simultaneously

Step 7: Refit the screws, gear shift trim vents.

NB 2000 Models

1. Remove the sculpted carpet trim either side of the centre console

2. Remove the black bolt ONLY on each side

3. Remove the ashtray and the gear shift trim as above

4. Remove the two bolts behind this trim NOT THE TWO SCREWS

5. Lift the veneer fascia trim outwards from the base and downwards.

6. Locate the bracket with the lower of the two screws to the left of the radio

7. An enlarged hole will need to be drilled in the bracket: ensure that the bracket is flush with the veneer and use spacers each side of the screw hole.

 

Dashmount will not be liable for any damage caused to a vehicle in executing the fitting of the bracket
