Step 1:     Unclip the gear shift surround.

Step 2:     Align the bracket arm with the securing bolts, with the raised plastic escutcheon. Position between the two inner vertical flanges.

Step 3:     Measure up where the two holes in the side of the console edge need to be drilled. Hole at rear end needs to be 5mm from the stiffening bar. Use the washer as a template for marking up the holes. Be careful as plastic is very soft and needs minimal force to drill through.

Step 4:     Refit the gaiter.
