1. Open the ashtray. Unclip the gear shift panel from the forward section and slide backwards.

2. Remove the ashtray mechanism and the base trim by releasing the two clips with a flat screwdriver.

3. Locate the lower arm of the bracket with the Torx 15 screw in the lower left corner of the main console unit.

nb When fitting the bracket adjacent to the CD player ensure the bracket is pulled tightly against the left hand wall of the console, this enables clearance of the CD mechanism.

4. Insert the upper arm between the console and fascia until the grips hook behind the trim.

5. Refit the ashtray parts and gear shift trim.
