1. Open the ashtray and unclip the trim around the gear stick, starting from the forward edge.

2. Remove the ashtray insert and release the two clips securing the front edge of the assembly base.

3. Insert the bracket between the console edge and the veneer trim/switch panel.

4. Locate the bracket with the Torx 15 screw securing the lower left of this switch assembly.

5. Refit the parts in reverse.

NB. ON AUTOMATIC VERSIONS STEP 2 & STEP 1 ARE REVERSED
