VW Passat 97> Left Side  (NOT CARS WITH CD '00)

1. Unclip the trim around the heater/climate controls using a flat bladed tool.          
2 Remove the screw in the recess's upper corners.
3. Remove the two screws in the rear of the storage tray.
4. Remove the storage tray and the fascia trim completely.
5. Locate the bracket with the lower left screw behind the plastic inner housing.          
6 Refit the trim and storage tray.

NB CARS FITTED WITH CD TUNER DISPENSE WITH THE STORAGE TRAY (PARTICULARLY APPLICABLE TO' 00> CARS) THE WHOLE FASCIAPANEL IS REMOVED AND THE BRACKET LOCATES SIMILARLY.DUE TO THE SLIGHT WIDTH VARIATION ON THE CD TUNER/CLIMATECONTROL UNIT, THE BRACKET MAY SLIGHTLY RAISE THE FASCIA WHEN LOCATED.
